In my country which is called Lebanon, their holidays are mostly Sunday. Even though, on Saturday they work a half time till 12 p.m. If there is any festival especially the public festivals or occasions they take at least a 1-week vacation. As well as, an exception in Christmas, they get a vacation for 12 days.

In my country, which is called Lebanon, our holidays are mostly on Sunday even though on Saturday we work half time (half a day) till 12 p.m. If there are any festivals, especially the public festivals or occasions, we take at least a 1 week vacation. An exception is Christmas, when we get a vacation for 12 days.
You can also say "half a day or part time until 12 pm.
