Please help me find the mistakes of these sentences. 1. She turned on her radio at the lowest in order not to disturb the others at night. 2. There are many factors causing from men. Why not caused by men?

Instead of: “She turned on her radio at the lowest…” (Examples if the radio was already on) “She turned the radio down…” “She turned the volume down on her radio…” (Examples of the radio was initially off, but she decided to turn it on at night) “She turned the radio on really low…” “She put the radio on really low…” “She put the radio on low…”

#2: “Causing from” is not correct. You’re right, it should be “caused by”. Maybe I would have to see more of the passage you got that sentence from to understand its context and help better. 🌈

Zoe, it is correct to say: There are many factors caused by men. Or, if you are talking about the human race, not simply the male sex you would say: There are many factors caused by mAn or human beings. Causing from men is NOT correct! As a native English speaker this sounds bad to my ears. It does not sound natural! I hope that this helps you 😀
