Hi,
Because in English you always use the gerund after expressions like: “I cannot stand”, “ I cannot bear”, “I cannot help”, “It is no good” and more…
It’s just practice. ☺️

A great way to do these exercises is to read the sentence with each option out loud. You hear the difference. :)
