I don’t notice any difference between the two myself. They both sound the same mean the same. There are several different ways to say the same thing in probably most all languages.

Most people use them interchangeably. For me: long term = compared to short term, a specific period of time into the future long run = an undetermined period, an eventual result

They're the same. You can use them basically interchangeably.

There are similar but not the same. Long-term is normally used as an adjective. Long run is usually used as a noun. Personally, I wouldn't use 'in the long term', I would use 'in the long run'. But use long term + noun (Examples: a long term plan, a long term commitment, a long term investment ).
