Today I asked iTalki support how to change my "communication tool" to Skype because of interruptions when using "italki Classroom". There is no way to change a class that is already scheduled to have a different "communication tool". Instead, message the instructor ahead of time. For newly-scheduled classes, you can change the "communication tool", you must notice a small detail that is hidden in the scheduling "wizard", the flow of pages where you decide what kind of lesson and the day/time, etc. At the bottom of the scheduling wizard page where the day/time is selected (the page titled "Schedule your lessons" with the green on a day/time matrix), AFTER you have selected a given time, there's a summary of your choices, in text at the bottom of the page like: ================== Conversation * 60 min -- Single Lesson -- Wed. Jan 15 * 04:00 - 0500 pm -- italki Classroom ================== Each of these segments can be clicked on! Who knew about this hidden feature? To change the "communication tool", click on that segment of text on the far right, where in the example above it says "italki Classroom".
