Personally, I can't say that there is a particular genre which I would surely choose when I like to read. It would depend on my mood and on the results I'd like to derive from reading. If I just want to relax a little, I will start reading a light and simple story. It may be a funny or adventurous story. I will just dive into it. I don't think about complicated things and my brain enjoys a rest. If I prefer, on the other side, to get some strong emotions and feelings, I would choose detective novels because they are unbelievable and very pleasant stories to be fully engaged in them. I would try to investigate the puzzling crimes by examining the characters. Also, I like to read romance novels when I feel a romantic vibe.
