Question for Spanish-English bilingual people:
How can I translate this "As if!" into Spanish in the following sentence:
"He acted like he didn't care at all, but I saw him looking back – as if!"
Google and ChatGPT give unnatural translations.

Hi Daniel,
I wonder go with 'como si fuera así´ or ´como si fuera nada´. The word-for-word translation might not work well sometimes—just my 2 cents.

Thank goodness Google nor the mighty ChatGPT isnt that good at translating (though it may get there soon, but I digress). Entonces, esa frase ''as if'' tiene su propio signifcado. Te aconsejo ver la pelicula ''Clueless'' con Alicia Silverstone que demuestra el contexto donde nacio, y se usa, esa frase
