Hello!
I am trying to translate a menu with Ukrainian dishes in English. Could you help me with this word 'zrazy'. Zrazy are made from mashed potatoes and stuffed with a variety of yummy things).
On the menu it should say "2 zrazy made mashed potatoes stuffed with stewed cabbage, mushrooms, onions and carrots, served with sour cream". What would you change to make it more understandable for English-speaking people? Should I add '-s' 2 zrazys? Shoud I chage Y - 2 zrazies?
Thank you so much!

"2 zrazy stuffed WITH mashed potatoes, stewed cabbage, mushrooms, onions and carrots, AND served with sour cream"
Since you are introducing us to a new word, you can make the plural of zrazy be as you like: "zrazy" or "zrazies". I personally think "zrazy" sounds better because it sounds less like English, and that's actually a good thing for a foreign dish.
The potatoes are part of the stuffing, right?

I would go with Mashed Potato Pie

It's customary to italicize a foreign word (in the description), also not to make the plural in English. Potato cutlets sounds descriptive and appetitizing, even though it technically implies it was "cut" from a larger body of potato stuff. You could use that term as well as its proper name.

If I say 2 Potato Cutlets instead of 2 zrazy would it make sense?
