Well-known brands usually cost around 4,000 yen, which is quite expensive for me. However, lesser-known brands cost about half as much. I was concerned about the quality of the lesser-known brands, so I checked some reviews. New bass strings have a brighter and clearer sound, while my current strings sound dull, and they even hurt my fingers when I play. Since they were on sale, I decided to buy a new set.
