Yes, I do have some future plans that I find too sensitive to share with my parents. You see, I'm the only child so my immediate family is just my parents and the three of us are very close. But there's still an age gap of more than twenty years between them and me. Their long-held opinions are hard to be changed and due to the rather closed living environment here it's challenging for them to accept the contrary information without thinking my mind is twisted by biasd propaganda. I might be exaggerating the situation though. But that's the reason why I keep something to myself. Still, it's always helpful to share some of your fears and worries with your families even concerning secrets because family acceptance and solidarity empower people to achieve themselves in this atomized society.

But there's still an age gap of more than twenty years between them and me. Their long-held opinions are hard to change (1) and due to the rather closed living environment here, it's challenging for them to accept information that contrasts with what they believe without thinking my mind is twisted by biased propaganda. I might be exaggerating the situation though, but that's the reason why I keep some things (2) to myself. Still, it's always helpful to share some of your fears and worries with your family even when it comes to secrets because family acceptance and solidarity empower people to find themselves in this atomized society. 1.
