It is the second day I woke up early. Hoping that I can acquire some more English knowledge, I feel excited. A saying popped up in my head: " The early bird catches the worms".

It is great to see your excitement about learning English. Waking up early and feeling motivated are excellent habits. Remember to use the present perfect tense when talking about actions that started in the past and continue to the present. Keep up the good work!

It is my second day of waking up early. Anticipating the English language surprises to greet me today, I feel excited. A saying popped up in my head: " The early bird catches the worm". "Worms" makes perfect sense, but we say "worm". It would also make sense to say "the early birds catch the worms", but sayings don't strive for accuracy. They strive for pithiness.
