I think there are probably many pointless rules in all schools; and I am not sure if this rule is there or not - but in my school all students have to wear a school uniform. Well, I don't have any problem with the uniform itself, but there are some some other baseless rules such as, we are not allowed to grow our nails. If we somehow manage to grow our nails, then we have to pay a fine - unbelievable, right? So this rule is very bad, because penalising someone for a natural human process is inhumane. Another futile rule is that girls are not allowed have a pony tail. I always hated this rule because it has no connection with studies or student performance - and boys are not allowed to have any kind of hairstyles. So, in my opinion, both of these these rules need to be reconsidered by those who make the rules.
