His face should be next to the word in the dictionary. - Her desire to have children was so strong that she went through IVF. - His desire to look rich is making him drown in debt. - He couldn’t let go of his desire to control everything, and this caused him a lot of anxiety. - Someone with strong determination to learn a language can start having conversations within a few months.

They're all quite natural for Spoken English. They're not terribly unnatural for Written English either, but a well educated native speaker would usually increase precision & clarity a bit more. Still, you've done well. A lot of native speakers speak like that.
