Brazil has a beautiful wildlife! There are many different kind of biomes here, but the most known is the Amazonia Biome, 49% of the Brazilian territory is filled with this biome. The famous Amazonian rain florest is an exemple of this kind of environment and in that forest live a great number of species.
Unfortunately, many species around the country are endengered, like the Jaguar (Onça pintada), the biggest feline from Americas, the Boto cor de rosa (a kind of fresh water dolphin) is also in danger. there are birds in danger as well, an Exemple of that is a kind of bird who lives only at amazonian biome called Ararajuba, a nice kind of parrot, painted by yellow and green (pic bellow).
Some ONGs and the Ministry of the Environment itself, have fought against the "biopiratary" and illegal hunters in the past years, as a strategy to save those and others endengered species.
