I'm from Odessa and my city is often considered a separate country inside Ukraine. Now we live in difficult times, because there is a war in the East of Ukraine. However, odessites in the South don't seem to mind it at all. It's not that we are insensitive or indifferent, it's just the way we’re made. We are upbeat and very witty. Almost every dialogue here is half information, half jokes. We like to joke a lot at any time or place, and I think that's beautiful.
