I'm confused about a word: businesswoman. Chatgpt says the word means the woman who is involved in business in various capacities, including management.
But the dictionaries suggest that businesswoman is a female who works in business, especially has a high position in a company.
Which one is correct? •᷄ࡇ•᷅

I agree with Dan. The definitions are the same. It is just the female form of "businessman".

Those two definitions are basically the same, so they're both correct.

Like the other responders, I too can see no significant differences between the two definitions. Which differences do you feel there are? Maybe we can help you with those.
