Sorry, what’s the difference between Vたら and 時?
For example, we say:
両親が将来を考えたら、大学を出なければならないと言いました。
But we don’t say:
両親が将来を考える時、大学を出なければならないと言いました。
Someone can explain this for me? とても難しいと思う!

Yeah it sounds confusing. I'm not a professional teacher but the second one sounds a bit off for me. In that context, you can think たら is "if" and とき is "when", so two conversations can be translated in into:
1. Parents said "if you think about your future..."
2. Parents said "when you think about your future..."
