But how can you identify in a sentence that a person speaks about brothers not sisters? For example, how to say the following sentence in Egyptian Arabic?

عندي ثلاثة أخّ وثلاثة أُخْوات

I was taught that أخّ is for brothers and أُخْت is for sisters
so I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters is:
عندي ثلاثة أخّة وثلاثة أُخْت
