I came across an interesting article online about taking a nap regularly. I would like to share some of the key points here. The article stated that there is a research which those who take a nap frequently have a high risk of suffering from high blood pressure and stroke. Taking a nap has been attracting a lot of attention lately. There has been some researches that those who take a nap a few times per week have a low risk of suffering a heart attack and stroke or taking a nap regularly can improve a cognitive ability. However, according to the analysis result of Biobank data in U.K, the new research revealed it's highly likely that those who take a nap frequently have a high blood pressure and stroke. The research team removed those who were already suffering from those kinds of diseases at the start of the investigation and analyzed the data such as how often you take a nap and if you have a high blood pressure and stroke. From the result, those who have high risk of suffering from those kinds of disease are men who take a nap on a daily basis, have a habit of drinking and smoking and are night owl that can't sleep at night due to insomnia and snoring. The risk depends on their age and people under 60 have 20% higher possibility of becoming high blood pressure. On the other hand, people over 60 have 10% higher possibility. The research team also discovered that the risk of high blood pressure raises by 40% as the frequency of taking a nap increases from "sometimes" to "frequently". This is just result that they checked to see if there is a correlation between nap and disease, not that they proved a causal relationship between them. That's why it is not like that taking a nap causes blood high pressure and stroke. Taking a nap is not harmful itself, but many people doing that can sleep shallow during the night. I just turned 60 this year and have a habit of taking a nap only on Sunday. I'd better be careful on the habit in the future.

I came across an interesting article online about taking naps regularly. I would like to share some of the key points here. The article stated that research has shown that people who take naps frequently may have a higher risk of developing high blood pressure and suffering a stroke. Taking naps has attracted a great deal of attention in recent years. Some studies have suggested that people who take a nap a few times a week have a lower risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke, and that taking naps regularly may improve cognitive ability. However, according to an analysis of UK Biobank data, new research suggests that people who take frequent naps are more likely to develop high blood pressure and suffer a stroke. The research team excluded people who were already suffering from these conditions at the beginning of the study. They then analysed data on how often participants took naps and whether they later developed high blood pressure or had a stroke. The results showed that the people at the highest risk were men who took naps every day, drank alcohol, smoked, and were night owls who struggled to sleep because of insomnia or snoring. The risk also depended on age. People under the age of 60 had a 20% higher risk of developing high blood pressure, whereas people over 60 had a 10% higher risk. The researchers also found that the risk of high blood pressure increased by 40% as the frequency of napping rose from "sometimes" to "frequently". However, this study only found a correlation between frequent napping and these health conditions. It did not prove that taking naps causes high blood pressure or strokes. Taking a nap is not harmful in itself, but people who nap frequently may sleep more lightly at night. I turned 60 this year and only take a nap on Sundays. I should probably pay more attention to this habit in the future.
Level: C1. This is an impressive summary of a scientific article. You explain the research logically, include supporting details, and even distinguish between correlation and causation, a concept many learners struggle with. Most of the corrections involved natural collocations and academic phrasing rather than grammar itself. Your ability to write longer, structured texts is already at a strong C1 level. Excellent work! 😊
