Ukrainian, like other Christians, that follow the Julian calendar, celebrate Christmas on the 6th of January. Christmas Eve or, as we call it, "Sviatii Vechir", is filled with numerous customs and rituals, such as decorating homes, and table cloths with special attributes, performing carols. Коляду поклич до хати, Щоб Ісуса привітати. Люди добрі, колядуйте, Сина Божого шануйте!
