Yesterday, I met a friend from my hometown for the first time in a long while. She is studying abroad in Hawaii, so we are not able to meet very often. She returned to Japan for summer vacation and invited me to a fireworks festival at Tokyo Racecourse. It was my first time watching fireworks in such a venue. The fireworks and performances were amazing, and I was very impressed. I felt that I would like to watch fireworks like that with someone I love someday. After that, we went to a restaurant near Shin-Akitsu. We ate grilled chicken and oden. Everything was very delicious, and I really enjoyed it. Then I tried to go home on the last train, but I got off at the wrong station and could not get home. In the end, I took a taxi and stayed at my friend’s house. Also, for the first time in my life, I saw an exhibitionist on the train. It was a very strange but interesting day.
