Hello, I want to ask you something.
How much lessons per week/month is enough for improving language or for keeping it in the same level?
(judging by your experience)

Unless you do classes everyday you should be studying outside of class I would probably an hour a day at least if you are not immersed in the language on a daily basis.

I would say try to stick to at least one lesson a week. When I improved most in my Spanish, I had at least one lesson a week. The other days of the week I would either be reviewing common mistakes I make in spanish, learning vocabulary, learning difficult verb contractions, reading in spanish, or practicing by using auto correcting quizzes some websites have to see if you have mastered a certain topic.
One important aspect, in my opinion, is to do one thing consistently that you enjoy. For example, I enjoyed reading children's books in spanish that I liked in English, or when I got better, I began reading books I enjoyed as a teenager or adult in English in Spanish as well. Or a game show in English that was also on tv but in Spanish. Or watch a movie with subtitles in Spanish.
For example, whenever I rent a move I always put in Spanish subtitles because I enjoy reading along with the movie

It depends on if you are the type of student who is good at directing yourself, or if you need someone else to tell you what to do.
(Both ways are effective, but the approach is different.)
If you are good at creating your own projects, then you should create different projects that require you to practice your new language every day.
That is how I learned Spanish.
Every single day I went to a market where everyone spoke Spanish.
I asked them questions.
I practiced phrases.
Every day.
The price for this knowledge is that you will have stomach pain from embarrassment for at least a year.
But you will improve consistently.

I also want to add that this really depends on your learning style. More lessons would be better, but if you only have the time to attend these lessons, then choose a teacher who is trained to make the most out of the time you're giving him/her/them. If you have time, then ask your tutor what you can do outside of the lesson time. You'll improve much faster or maintain the language if you practice what you did on your own time with your tutor.
