Don't try with series - they (mostly) are boring IMO. Try with movies!
There is a small application to find subtitles called napiprojekt - you could use it to find subtitles made by fans, mostly for not polish movies and series

It could be hard to find polish films with english subtitles. Do you have a favorite movie that you saw many times? You can try find that movie with polish lector on Youtube. Good luck with your studies.:)
