"Get that person to stop your crying" or "keep crying forever" are literally the only two options, so I'll go for the first one. Not sure it ever happens though.

It is just the unfortunate misery of falling in love and that love ending or was never returned in the first place.

Nothing can be done and nothing makes you feel better if you are truly broken hearted.  I hold the world's longest record - it took me 8 years to get over being left at the alter.  You just have to suffer thru it all and hope it ends as soon as possible.

Realize that the person who made you cry is not the only one who can stop you from crying. It sucks and it takes a while, as Anne said, but as I said, it's either that or try to get bulk discount on tissues.
