Yeah, it's a very interesting topic.

The truth is though that adult learners have lots of advantages as well! We can learn grammar and new vocabulary MUCH faster than children. We can become conversationally fluent in 6-10 months, while babies / children take years.

obviously, children's minds are ready to learn new things and about adults, concentrating and focusing on learning is tough for adults because of thinking about the various situations at a moment.
