I can't find a teacher here who teaches or even speaks Uzbek. It's hugely frustrating, because I actually signed up for italki for Uzbek... Any idea as to why there is such phenomenon? There are 27 million Uzbek native speakers in the world, there must be at least some who teach anglophones their own language for a living... ugh, tough luck.
I suppose you have 2 options - to look for an English speaking Uzbek in your country among the immigrants through Facebook maybe, to try to convince him/her to teach you. And the second - to learn Russian first, since all the learning resources I've seen in Internet were in Russian.
