Native English Speaker Looking to Learn Japanese

Hello!

I am a native English speaker with experience living in 3 different English-speaking countries (South Africa, Canada, UK). I have a basic understanding of Japanese and would like to find a language partner who is fluent in Japanese and would like to learn English. I have background in science (MSc in Medical Biochemistry) so I can also help those who want to be able to read and understand scientific journal articles. I am coming to Japan in Sept to start my PhD so it would be nice to improve my conversational skills! I feel you can only get so far learning from language apps.

My degree is bachelor of engineering tho, I thnink I could help you. I currently work for a manufacturer dealing in somewaht chemical goods, even though my major was Mechanical engineering. This could explain it.
