what does 가 and 나 mean
Hi.. i am studying korean through a book.. and while learning basic phrases i saw the same question but with "가" and "나"... i tried to search on google traduction but it says the first one is the and the second one is I ... i am kinda lost can someone help please

In the textbook, 가 and 나 is sequence list mark like as A,B,C,D or 1,2,34.
The sequence is
가,나,다,라,마,바,사,아,자,차,카,타,파,하
e.g.
Which is correct answer of 1+2?
가. 3
나. 4
다. 5
라. 6
The answer is 가
