Yes, I always use emojis when texting, because I think they help to better convey the emotions behind the text. I find them very useful especially when I write in English (which is not my native language), because I tend to be an ironic person. I noticed that while messaging with people from different culture, misunderstands can easily happen. Therefore I add emojis to help the other person understand when, for instance, I make some jokes.
