My best ways to learn a language are:

-Studying at most common words

-Trying to write sentences with these words

-Speaking with someone who knows the target language.

-Watching a video including this language everyday

Those are great ideas!

In my classes, I focus on teaching through interesting materials. Therefore, I would also recommend reading fiction or non-fiction books from genres that interest you. You could also listen to audio-books and the radio to improve your listening ability.
