Don't worry, I don't think you'll fall in that trap. I know what you mean but in order to sell, or for marketing purposes, many people say many things. It doesn't matter! You follow your own path at the end and you measure yourself with your own parameters. The only trap would be to compare yourself with someone else, and not only for languages. There is no comparison, each one of us has a different path.

The official definition for a polyglot is someone who speaks 3 or more languages fluently, however we can also use the term multilingual.

Depends on how we count! English- native. Russian- can converse on most subjects. Spanish— limited scope. German— out of practice read better than write. Same for French. And starting mandarin this year

for me language learning is a blast! And I love to travel!
