あなたの亡骸に土かける。
I call for your body in the soil?
I was just confused because the English translation of the song says:
I sprinkle earth on your corpse.
Does kakeru mean something else besides call? Does it have multiple meanings?

Yes, kakeru has many homonyms.
For example
毛布を掛ける（もうふをかける） to cover something with a blanket
橋を架ける（はしをかける） to build a bridge (over something)
お金を賭ける（おかねをかける） to bed money
馬が駆ける （うまがかける） A horse runs.
歯が欠ける（はがかける） A tooth breaks.

the verb "kakeru" means "to sprinckle." The synonym is "maku." kakeru (to call someone) is another verb.

Since in the offical lyrics there is no kanji for the word, do I assume when it is written in hiragana, that it means to sprinkle/pour? Not the other definitions?
