The Assimil courses are optimal for shadowing. Nothing but over-enunciated recordings of the language done by experienced native speakers from all over. Unfortunately, with most languages, the accompanying book only comes in French. On the plus side, Russian isn't one of those. "Russian without Toil" is available in English.
