"slice-of-life"

I was wondering, is there an expression for  "slice-of-life" in Japanese?

The dictionary says it's "人生の一片", is that true? Or are there other ways of saying it?

it is true, but you could also say that 「人生の1コマ」. 1コマ means a shot taken by camera, so I think it is a good expression to descrive a moment/slice of your life.

hope this could be helpful :)

"人生の一片"でよいと思います。

もしアニメのジャンルのことを言っているのであれば、”スライスオブライフ" とカタカナで書きます。

If you are talking about Anime, is better you write  in Katakana "スライスオブライフ".

Thank you Toshikazu and Kaori!

So if I want to say "It's a slice-of-life movie", I can use "人生の1コマ" or "人生の一片"...

but for anime I would have to use ”スライスオブライフ" ?

I just looked on wikipedia as well, and there "空気系" is used. There are so many ways to say "slice-of-life" XD
