I know that it treats women appaulingly. It's a country I would never want to visit.

I know that it's a motherland of the Muslim prophet Muhammad, it's a place where Islam originated. The main city is Mecca, where the Caaba is located. The Caaba is the sacred place for all the Muslims. Every day Muslims from all over the world during their prayer turn their body towards the Caaba. Therefore Mecca is a sacred place of Islam. And every year there are thousands of pilgrims who go there to make a hajj. As far as I know, non-Muslims can not enter the city.The second important city in Saudi Arabia Medina.

I have never been there. But I guess the clinate there is really hot. The majorty of the territory is covered with desert. As it is the main Muslim country, the rules and laws there must be quite severe.

I would like to visit this country someday, as well as other islamic states (I'm not Muslim though)
