Jiachen, please, please, please I beg you..... USE YOUR ORIGINAL CHINESE NAME!!!!

I am sorry if I make a frustrated and irritated impression, but this foreign name habit, it is typically American. In high school in the Netherlands we studied 3 languages, English, German and French. And no teacher had the nerve to ask if we would adopt an English, German or French name. We had our Dutch names!!! Given by our parents from our own culture, and we were proud of those names. Please be proud of your own Chinese culture and use your Chinese name! I hate it when Chinese girls adopt an English name. Sorry, sorry and sorry again, but just please do not do it!!

Dawn is a nice English name. I noticed Sunny is also a popular choice among Asian girls. If you want, you can use Sunny as a nickname for Sunshine. Danica is slavic for morning star. Elaine/Elena/Eleanor/Ellen/Helen and its similar variations means sun ray or shining light.

As for names that sounds like Jachien: Jayden, Jasmine, Jocelyn, Jaclyn, Jailyn, Janine, Janice...

OMG 3 Please and 3 Sorry, M.Malsikof: this is the first time that I agree with you.

Jiachen: Why you have to change your name? Changing your name don't make you an English speaker. People don't have to change their name because they just learn language. I wonder what is the point from this?
