Language level certification info?

Hey everyone! So I learn languages as a hobby and mainly just for fun, but lately I've been curious about whether there is a test, or something to officially certify my level just to know exactly where I am at in my learning. Does anyone have any info on whether this is possible and how to go about it? I would like to do this for my Italian, Portuguese and even French. Thanks. :)

For Italian, there are also these exams: PLIDA (diploma issued by the Socieetà Dante Alighieri) and CELI (certifate delivered by Università di Perugia), both are internationally recognized and cover all levels.

For French, there are many exams : DELF A1-B2, DALF C1-C2, TCF (Test de Connaissance du Français: valid for two years) TEF (Test d'évalutation de français - it looks like the last one, for professional French : DFP : Tourisme, Hôtellerie, Sécretariat, Science et Technique, Juridique, Affaires (business) , covering B1 to C2 levels.

If you want just to get to know your level , I would advise you to take the TCF exam. If you want a diploma, then you should take DELF or DALF.

Well, there's the DELF exam for French, which covers A1-B2 levels. Advanced levels (C1/C2) are covered by the DALF exam.  Italian has the CILS exam.  I'm not sure about Portuguese.

Were you planning to take an official exam?
