A student recently asked me to help them correct some of their writing, they specifically want to study writing as its for an exam. My problem is as a teacher on italki there is no option for "correcting writing" and obviously its not a skype lesson so how do teachers offer this service?
Any ideas from students or teachers would be great.

@steerpike yes that seems the most logical and fair way, to book a time slot to work on the corrections then when that booked time slot has passed then return the corrections in a file with comments etc, it seems the fairest for both student and teacher to do it that way.
My suggestion is fix a time for your service and charge it like a conversation. If it takes 2 hours for instance, ask your student to pay for two lessons. The spoken connetion is never made but when the writing is returned, the student pays.
As long as italki does not mind :-). Seems easier than making the site more complicated.
