Some phrases in english (Practising to B1 exam)

Hello people! I'm studiying to take my B1 exam, and I have a lot of exercises about writing phrases and text. I can write it and you help me with errors. Thank you.

"Did you use to wear uniform in your school?"

"Where did you use to spend your freetime?"

"In your school, did you use to practise some sport?"

"What subjects did you use to learn in school?"

"I always use to have luch in school canteen"

"After classes I used to practise gimnastics"

A little text. I have to write to a friend about my own family life.

"Hello Liam, It's Jessica, I met you in university last week.

I want to tell you about me and my family.

I was born in Barcelona, but with 12 years I had move to Cadiz, in Andalucía. I live here with my mother, Loli, and my 14 years brother named Alan. We live in a city called El Puerto de Santa María, in a country house with a lot of animals, like dogs, cats, birds and rats. I'm doing a degree in veterinary in Cordoba, another city of Andalucia.

I hope you ask me this letter when you can. My best wishes to you.

Jessica."

Thank you all!! I post here more exercises when I do its.

Used or use? - when there is did in the sentence, we say use to (without d) - when there is no did in the sentence, we say used to (with d)

"Hello Isabel! I'm writing this e-mail to thank you for helping me study for my English exam. The exam was a little more difficult than I expected, but thanks to your help I think I'll pass it. Would you like to come to my house tomorrow? Maybe we can see a film or eat something together. Love, * Jessica."

"Dear Mr. Smith. I want to apologize for not being able to go to the sports practice that we have after school today. I didn't remember that I will have to take care of my little sister, because my parents are going out to celebrate their aniversary. Maybe can I do this practice tomorrow after school? My sincerest apologies."

* 'Best wishes' is too formal for use between friends. Between friends and family members, we say 'Love' at the end of letters and messages.

Well, if it's for an English exam and you're following a texbook, then definitely use "did you use to...?"  "Used to" is a funny little piece of grammar, and I've always felt the question form was a little odd-looking, in spite of being perfectly correct.

By the way, I've encountered "usedn't to" among my Irish friends, even though the correct (standard) negative is "didn't use to".

I want to tell you about me and my family.
I was born in Barcelona, but with 12 years at the age of 12 (or "when I was 12")my family and I had move to Cadiz, in Andalucía. I live here with my mother, Loli, and my 14 years year old brother named Alan. We live in a city called El Puerto de Santa María, in a country house with a lot of animals, like such as (or "including") dogs, cats, birds and rats. I'm doing a pursuing a degree in veterinary medicine in Cordoba, another city of Andalucia. (OR "I am studying veterinary medicine at the university in Cordoba, another city of Andalucia." Either is fine.)

I hope this helps!! If you have more questions, please ask. :)

I must ask because I am curious, do you have pet rats there? I know some countries do have pet rats, but here in the US they are considered pests.
