It doesn't mean 'follow the majority'. Doris is right.  It's about ways of life in other cultures. It means that if you visit another country you should adapt your behaviour to fit in with the way that they do things there.

Su.Ki is correct. It does not mean following the majority, but rather the norms of the society. If an European (depending on the person's exposure) comes to America, he/she will quickly learn we don't kiss each other on the cheek. You might get a hug is you are a girl, or  a "man hug" if you are a guy- that is it.

not only i leave the rubbish customs but also i try to prove the majority wrong but.....Easier said than done.
