Portuguese hint: "a gente"

"a gente" means the same thing of "nós" ,the only difference is that unlike "nós" you can't conjugate "a gente" using the first person plural, you have to use the third person singular.Some examples: 

 

A gente VAI à praia

A gente GOSTA de música indie

A gente QUER uma mesa para dois

Ipse Dixit! Talvez em uma situação bem formal padrão, por exemplo nas notícias de TV (formais, pois temos muito sensacionalismo e anti-profissionais nos telejornais brasileiros), talvez o " nós " seja mais usado. 

 

Mas te digo que A GENTE é muito usado em todas as situações, há verbos que um Brasileiro teria dificuldade de conjugar com " nós " e prefere usar o " a gente ", por exemplo, aposto que você raramente escutaria um Brasileiro conjugar o verbo "vir" com o pronome " nós " e muitos nem sabem, na verdade rsrsrs.

Então "a gente" e "nós" são completamente idênticas e intercambiáveis ou há diferença de formalidade?
