It's already December and it's getting much colder in Japan. The other day I went to the dentist for the first time in a while. I've been seeing a dentist since last summer, and got my teeth straightened. Last year, I had four teeth pulled. 😬 I started straightening this year, and my upper teeth are almost straight now. The dentist said he will take the wires out next month and I am very happy. Now I can't remember what it feels like without the wires. The only good thing about having the corona is that the mask covers my mouth. My braces show the wires in all the way, but since I wear the mask all day, even my friends don't know that I have braces. I think I got my braces at the best time because of that. It seems that double teeth don't give a good impression in other countries, but not in Japan. In Japan, there are people who think double teeth are cute.I was surprised when I first found out that double teeth are called double-teeth in English. Yet, when I think about it, I feel that foreigners are more likely to wear braces than Japanese. For example, I often see small children wearing braces in Disney movies. I felt that straight teeth are considered very important in other countries. I decided to get braces because I want to work abroad in the future.
