You cannot book a lesson until you finish setting up the payment method in your profile. You will need a credit card or an online payment method such as paypal. Next, you select the teacher and lesson that you want to book. Finally, after the lesson is complete, italki will automatically charge you for your lesson (they keep a % and the rest is paid to the teacher)
