My introduction I have learnt English for years: at school, at university and on language schools. Unfortunately I stuck near pre-intermediate level because of my bad listening skill: I hard to catch what native speakers say. I have tried to get one-to-one classes with local teachers but it did not meet my expectations. I want to take some lessons with native teachers on italki: I hope it could help me to move to next level. Usually when I watch introduction videos I can understand 90% at least :) I need English for work and travel. I am a developer (software engineer) and in my work I often need to make conversetion with English-speaking customers by email and on online meetengs. Last years I can travel a lot and my favorite countries Poland and United Kingdom. Last year I have been to London and Somerset. I have wrote this text myself but I just check it in Google Translate. ===== I'm preparing for trial lessons and this just note to remember what I should say ;) I hope it is not sound like whining.

My introduction

I have been learning English for years: at school, at university, and at language schools. Unfortunately, I am stuck near the pre-intermediate level because of my poor listening skills: I find it hard to catch what native speakers say.

I have tried to get one-on-one classes with local teachers, but it did not meet my expectations. I want to take some lessons with native teachers on italki. I hope it could help me move to the next level. Usually, when I watch introduction videos, I can understand at least 90% :)

I need English for work and travel. I am a developer (software engineer) and in my work I often need to make conversation with English-speaking customers by email and in online meetings. The last few years I have traveled a lot and my favorite countries were Poland and the United Kingdom. Last year I went to London and Somerset.

I wrote this text myself. I checked it in Google Translate before posting.
