Quickest way is writting with a virtual keyboard as http://spanish.keyboard.su/ or http://gate2home.com/Spanish-Keyboard. I prefer the second one. Press accent key before vocal and you will see the vocal accented... write in the website and after copy and paste wherever you need your spanish text... Another way is setting up your computer with spanish keyboard and being changing between your local and spanish keyboard when you like... but it's a little more difficult... try to find a tutorial in google to do it...

I don't know about the keycodes on a laptop - if you have a function lock key you could try pressing that, which would turn your alpha keys in to numerical keys - then try the ALT and key code - but you can also use the character map which is to be found at; Win Start » Programs » Accessories » System Tools » Character Map. Assuming you're on windows. Ahhh me ballacks hehehe my little Irish tribute there :D x
