Do my learning method wrong? I always keep to practice in grammar book of learning English and remember new vocabulary,but today I found that this method can't completely to improve and learn English. Can foreign English people give me a suggestion to effective learn English? It's really my heartfelt wishes. How can effective to learn?

I always keep a grammar book to practice learning English and remember new vocabulary but today I found using this method I cannot completely improve and learn English effectively.

Can native English speakers give me a suggestion to learn English? It's really my heartfelt wish. How do I learn effectively?

[You should learn a language in a way that makes you happy. If you like to learn grammar then continue this method. However if you dislike studying grammar and you find it difficult to remember then this is not an effective form of language learning. Doing something that you don't like means that eventually you will not do it. Since language learning takes years and requires passion and motivation then enjoying the language learning experience is very important. So find a way to learn a language that makes you happy.]

Learning another language takes different types of learning. In the beginning, Grammar is very necessary and should be taught by someone who speaks your language as well as the language you want to learn. But once you know the basics of grammar from the book, it is now time to use it! This is the time you want to find a native speaker and use conversation to increase your comprehension of the spoken language, how it is used, learn more advanced and daily vocabulary, and practice your pronunciation.

The only way I can think of is to immerse yourself in the language. Hearing natives speak can make you pick things up faster if you hear the same phrases repeatedly. Sometimes when translating you can't do it word for word since some thoughts can be expressed in one word or several. It will take some time, but as long as you have passion you'll get it! Good luck! English didn't make sense to me when I was learning and I'm a native speaker!
