Nowadays, many people are becoming less patient. They lose their patience while stuck in traffic or waiting in line.
Dr. Jennifer Hartstein explains, "we have become an immediate gratification culture, and we expect things to move quickly, efficiently and in the way we want. When that doesn't happen, we tend to become increasingly frustrated and irritable...We've lost the art of just slowing down and enjoying the moment."
Researchers suggest that technology is one reason why people become less patient. "Digital technology, from cellphones to cameras to email to iPods, is changing our lives . . . The instant results we get from this technology have in turn increased our appetite for instant gratification in other aspects of our lives," as stated in The Gazette of Canada.
People now prefer instant messaging. They don't even take time to proofread what they write or type so numerous letters and emails contain grammatical and typographical errors.
Impatience is evident not only in digital communication but in everyday life as well. Many do things too fast- eat, talk, drive, and even spend money.
Some even have no patience to read through something like this text. :)

I couldn't agree more! I just realized that this was a post from 10/29/12---it's still true:-)
I was having a discussion with some coworkers last week about this very subject, so the notebook title caught my eye.

Hi teacher!
I totally agree with the article and it's something that is very noticeable. It's surprising that some activities that demand a lot of effort and patience to see the outcome are lacking people interests like body exercising (people are usually pushed by health issues) or language learning.
Please write more often. See you!
