A story of rabid bats

In this sketch, the French humorist Jean-Marie Bigard explains that he has heard this morning on the radio that we have a chance on one out of ten million to be bitten by a rabid bat. He wants to know how the searcher has come to that conclusion.He says that it’s impossible unless  the guy knows  a band of bats personally. He criticized the fact that the searcher made everybody afraid though we have nine million, nine hundred and ninety-nine thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine chance to not be bitten and so not to die in horrible pain. He says that in Paris,  aren’t a lot of bats. Moreover, he lives at the fifth floor without a lift and he has a doorcode and an entry phone so he doesn’t have to fear the bats. 

Altough, he admits for  fun that a rabid bat is at the building door. It finds the entrycode but it has to imitate the voice of a Bigard’s friend. But when he opens the door, drunk,  the tiny bat has to push the door. But it can and climbs up the stairs and knocks on Bigard’s door.when he opens the door, the bat would probably be tired so it rests in the sofa for a while and during that time Bigard can take a gun and shoots the bat.

According to Bigard, the searcher is dangerous because he scares people with the only chance we have. If a buddy comes at his home disguised in bat to make a prank, he could kill him. He thinks  that the searcher has to stop with it because he (who does 'he' refer to?)  is afraid of bats.
