The number of girls per 100 boys in all levels of education. The first bar graph indicates the number of girls per 100 boys in primary education. In 1990, there were 83 girls per 100 boys that were secondary education students who were living in developing countries; and there were 93 girls per 100 boys that were primary education students who were living in developed countries. While the figures in 2000 show that the ratio of female to male primary education students had increased to 87 and 96 percent respectively. The second graph shows the number of girls per 100 boys in secondary education. In 1990, in developing countries, there were 72 girls for every 100 boys in secondary education; in developed countries the figures were 98 girls for every 100 boys. In 2000, the figures for developing countries were 82 for every 100 and 99 for every 100 boys in developed countries. The last graph tells us the number of girls per 100 boys in secondary education. In developing countries, there were 66% of girls in 1990 and the figures were 75% of girls in 2000, while the figures for taking tertiary education were 105% and 112% respectively. Of all level of education's targets concerning 2005, there will be estimated 100% per 100 boys. (Words: 203)
