What are the advantages and disadvantages of the technologies?

I am going to summarize the main pros and cons of some items like computers, mobile phones or internet.

As a general rule, the main advantage of those technologies is their capability of making life easier. The internet for instance, allows you to communicate with someone anywhere in the world in a few seconds. An additional advantage is that it provides access to information. Private individuals only need a mobile phone or a computer with an internet connection.

However, technology is a mixed blessing. Its main disadvantage is that people are becoming more and more dependent on computers and cannot seem to function without it.

To sum it up, advanced technology allows people a more efficient way to do things (but we should not forget to do it by ourselves) (not sure what you are trying to say.
